When I go to export as a bgl it doesn't save the file no yellow window. What I miss?

Is there any way to use Model Converter X to visualize an FSX plane in all three axes so that I can measure distances from the reference point like we could do with Aircraft Container Manager for FS9. I know that ACM works with non-native aircraft in FSX but won't display the native FSX models. If not, is there any FSX program to do it like ACM did?
